Chest Drawers

Chests of drawers are the unsung storage heroes: they hold a wardrobe's worth of folded clothes in a fraction of the floor space, work as bedside tables in pairs, and anchor a hallway or landing. Our collection spans white and grey chests and bedside tables in matt and high-gloss finishes, with black handles and T-bar detailing, in configurations from 2 drawers to 8 drawers. High-gloss designs reflect light in smaller bedrooms; matt finishes hide fingerprints in children's rooms. Two-drawer bedsides suit minimalist setups; 6 and 8-drawer chests can genuinely replace a small wardrobe for folded clothes. Chests span a broad spread of finishes: if the one you want is not shown, contact us and we will try to find it for you. Anyone furnishing a full bedroom should pair these with our Wardrobe collections and Divan Bed range for a coordinated look. Buying advice: check drawer depth, not just drawer count. Deep drawers hold jumpers; shallow ones are for underwear and accessories. Soft-close runners are worth having on bedroom chests used daily. Measure the wall: an 8-drawer chest can run 120cm or more wide, which needs planning in a box room. As bedside tables, two matching 2-drawer chests frame a bed better than most dedicated bedsides, and hold considerably more. Common questions Q: How many drawers do I need? A: Judge by depth, not count. Deep drawers for jumpers and jeans, shallow ones for underwear and accessories. Q: Are soft-close runners worth it? A: On bedroom chests used daily, yes. They stop slamming and keep the unit feeling solid for years. Q: Can chests replace bedside tables? A: Two matching 2-drawer chests frame a bed beautifully and hold far more than most dedicated bedsides. Every chest of drawers order includes free UK delivery, you can look it over at your doorstep before paying, and many ranges include a 5-year manufacturer guarantee - see the product page for details.
