Furniture for London homes London homes ask more of furniture than anywhere else in the country. Flats and apartments need space-saving designs: sofa beds that turn a living room into a guest room, ottoman divan beds that hide a wardrobe's worth of storage under the mattress, and compact 2 seater sofas that fit box-room lounges. Victorian and Edwardian terraces in areas like Ealing, Enfield and Walthamstow have narrow hallways and tight stairwells, so measuring the delivery route matters as much as measuring the room. New-build apartments across Stratford, Wembley and Croydon often come with lifts, but the sofa still has to fit through the front door. Our range is chosen with London floor plans in mind. Corner sofa beds with storage chaises seat five by day and sleep two by night. Sliding-door wardrobes save around 60cm of floor space compared with hinged designs, which can be the difference between a wardrobe that fits a London box room and one that does not. Divan beds with drawer or ottoman storage remove the need for a separate chest of drawers entirely. Sofas in London The sofa is our most delivered item in London. The range covers 2 seater sofas for flats, 3 seater sofas for family living rooms, 3+2 seater sets, L-shaped corner sofas and U-shaped sofas for open-plan spaces. Fabrics include velvet, jumbo cord, chenille and easy-clean weaves, in a wide range of colours and finishes. Chesterfield designs bring deep-buttoned traditional style for period properties, while clean-lined contemporary models suit new builds. If you need seating and sleeping in one piece, our corner sofa beds use proper pull-out mattresses rather than thin fold-flat pads, so guests get real sleep. Storage chaises on selected models swallow duvets and pillows, which means the bedding lives inside the sofa instead of in a cupboard you do not have. Beds and bedroom furniture in London Divan beds are the practical choice for London bedrooms: an upholstered base with drawer or ottoman storage built in, pairing with headboards from simple panels to 54-inch floor-standing designs. Ottoman beds lift on gas pistons to reveal the whole base as storage, ideal for suitcases and seasonal clothes in homes without a loft or spare room. Wardrobes run from 1-door slim units for hallway gaps to 6-door mirrored designs, with mirrored doors reflecting light around smaller bedrooms. Cash on delivery in London Every London order is cash on delivery. You order online or by phone, we deliver, you look the furniture over at your doorstep, and only then do you pay the driver. There is no deposit and nothing is charged to a card in advance. If the item is not as described, you are not committed to it.
